Brand Sharing:Marks And Spencers
Dear visitors, today I’m sharing with you one of my favorite kids bedding brands, it’s Marks And Spencers !
What is Marks And Spencers ? Here’s the story of it.
M&S started life in 1884, when the immigrant Michael Marks came to the north of England and managed to secure a stall at Kirkgate Market in Leeds. Having arrived with little money and limited English, he built his success using the slogan “Don’t ask the price, it’s a ’Penny”. Thanks to this simple idea and his hard work, his stall selling simple homewares was soon thriving. To support his growing business, Michael joined forces with Tom Spencer, a cashier from wholesalers Dewhirst. From this partnership, ‘Marks & Spencer’ and its first Penny Bazaar stores were born and the business we all know today began to take shape.
Let’s see what some of our recent customers who have purchased Marks And Spencers products have to say about it.
①My daughter and I popped into M&S to purchase some bra’s for her return to Sixth form.
We realised she had never been properly fitted, So on the off chance I approached a member of the lingerie department staff.
Her name was Rashmi, we did not have an appointment but Rashmi was extremely helpful she assessed my daughters size on sight and then advised us to grab a couple bras to try on, Rashmi then took a look at the fit. Low and behold after some small adjustments to the strap, back and cups it was the correct size..
My daughter and I could not be happier.
I would like to say thank you to Rashmi for such excellent service and well done to M&S for such wonderful staff.
②I spoke to a lady on the bus that works in Marks and Spencer named Julie she was in her uniform on the way to work . I asked her many questions and she said all the fruit is the best at Marks . I was interested in cucumber and ended up buying 10 for my weight loss .
She was polite friendly and really loves her job and the products .
Thanks for employing genuine staff that even when they are off duty still promote the organisation .
10/10 for Julie being so genuine and I will be buying a lot of fruit and veg at this store as like she said they last longer and do not go off .
Good value for money.
③Bought the afternoon tea gift for a friends anniversary and my Mum sent us one for our Anniversary. Such a lovely gift. My friend loved hers. Well packaged delivery on time and a great price and gift. Highly recommend.
④Visited Grafton Street store in Dublin a few days ago. I was attended by Teresa in the gent’s clothing department. Probably the most helpful assistant I have encountered. She gave an abundance of her time and gave loads of options to try on different outfits. Very patient and helpful member of staff. I mislaid an item and called the next day and again she was most helpful in locating my lost item. Thank you very much. Excellent customer service.
⑤Ordered the Farley coffee table online. I had looked at it before but it was then on sale at a good price. Delivery was easy to arrange and it arrived right on time, within just a couple of days of ordering. The table itself was really well packaged, damage free and was easy to build. I can’t fault the product or the service.
